While Connie grew up with privilege on one side of her family, she also experienced struggle and shock as she discovered later in life that news about one of her parents that shaped and changed her identity. While one side of her family worked hard to acquire success and real estate in San Francisco, the other side was comprised of first generation immigrants from Mexico who by default had less privilege. From these experiences, she learned to navigate within affluence as well as have awareness of apartment living. This is part of the catalyst in adopting the belief that external blessings are fleeting and it what is inside that counts most.
After graduating high school in Pacifica, she headed to San Francisco State to play soccer. She later transferred to St Mary’s, where she earned a degree in Psychology with an emphasis on Spanish. She later worked toward her Masters in Counseling from Chapman, as well as her PPS Credential.
She has worked as a counselor in high schools for almost 20 years and considers her work with teens an instrumental step toward the goals of Exeo Purpose. Connie was recognized in Psychology Today and CA Teacher’s Association for her “Mujeres” project, which was intimate group counseling for first generation Latina students to empower them with respect to educational and life opportunities. She has worked as a counselor in various roles, ranging from helping high achieving students toward their college aspirations to working in continuation school with deep social emotional challenges and working with families in need of support for their teens.
Though she has an accomplished work history, Connie primarily considers herself a God serving wife and mother. Her youngest son is in elementary school, her middle son in middle school and her oldest is a student at the University of Tennessee. She has navigated through the challenges of a blended family for over 15 years and has tremendous empathy for those who encounter those circumstances.
All of her past has brought her to the point of feeling called to work authentically with others who have a need for insight, wisdom, compassion, understanding and general help with life transitions.

My mission through Exeo Purpose is to empower women and couples and help clients experience freedom and purpose in their life. Ideally this would result in a chain reaction that results in positivity for loved ones as well. One meaning of “Exeo” (in Latin) is “to rise, like an overflowing river” and my desire is to let that be the foundational principle of my work with clients.
To understand my desire for individuals and couples, consider a spray bottle. If we can first work together to fill you with your purpose, we can then “spray” meaning, love, positivity and purpose to each and every person around you one misty drop at a time! Exeo Purpose will help clients “rise” personally and professionally. It is easier to be encouraged when you are aware of and focused on your life purpose. Let’s work together and help you find your purpose.
Exeo Purpose strives to meet clients in their present situation and help them identify their personal or professional goals. Exeo Purpose also offers continued education on relative topics including:
